Humanities - Photographer Traveling Across the World

Afra born in Shanghai and based in New York City, Afra Lu has been devoted to the role of a global citizen as a photographer. Her works are published in major magazines (such as L'officiel, Glamour, and Bride) and won multiple WPPI (the biggest international portrait contest) awards, her works mostly revolve around humans, documenting elements too subtle to be noticed or inspiring a brighter view on otherwise realistic matters. Having traveled to nearly thirty countries, she constantly observes the impact we are making on the environment and explores how planet earth serves as a platform for our distinctively evolving cultures.
